What Does A Website Cost?

There as many answers to this question as there are people asking it and you do not always get what you pay for.

Generally the big firms will charge at least $1000 for a simple brochure website because you are getting the skill sets of several people but this does not always equate to a better website.

Individual contractors vary widely in skills sets and experience. They may charge as little as $300 for a simple brochure website. Your best guide will be to look at past work. A user friendly website will open directly to the page indicated by the link text. If you click on link that reads client websites that is exactly what you should see. Individual contractor websites can be strongly influenced by the knowledge or beliefs of that contractor. I feel strongly that usability and practicality is the most important aspect of a website. Another point of view may be that a visually Stunning website is most important thing and if this better accomplishes the purpose of the website than it is the most important thing. Expect to pay at least $1000 for flash web design of your website. You have to decide what will best accomplish your reason for getting a website.

It is necessary to have website hosting and domain name in addition to regular maintenance. I offer hosting, domain name and regular maintenance for $24.95 per month. my web design prices are here
