What Do I Need To Do To Have A Website?

The very most important thing to understand is that your web designer cannot do anything until you give them the written content. It is the responsibility of the client to provide all written content for their website.
After your website is complete it will be up to you to send updates or corrections to the Webmaster. Nothing will happen unless you first initiate it. You must say what changes or updates you want and where they should be placed. Send the page address and where at on the page you want these changes to be placed. These should be sent by email or magnetic media to avoid typing charges.
After changes are made you should review them for correctness. If changes are not made correctly this should be brought to the attention of the Webmaster in a timely fashion. Otherwise there may be additional charges to make these corrections. To put this differently if things are not done they way you asked for them to be done you need to say so within a week or two. This is to avoid paying for both the change and the correction to that change.
A website needs two people to work well and timely response to questions or other communications is necessary for the success of your website. Email is the fastest and most efficient. It is possible that there may be charges for telephone calls or visits to your shop or office. Returning calls and emails is critical to success of your website.
Statements should be paid monthly. If an invoice is 90 days delinquent your website may suspended and will require a $100 fee in addition to any delinquent amounts to reinstate it. When a website is suspended it will not be visible on the Internet. Emails may also be lost at this time.
